Privacy Policy

The Dojo is a habits and team-accountability app. Our promise is simple: your data is yours, it’s private by default, and we don’t sell it — ever.
What we collect
Account info — your name and email when you sign up (via email or Google sign-in). What you create — habits, logs, journal entries, notes, goals, reflections, messages, and photos you add. Team info — which teams you join and what you choose to share with them. Basic technical data — the minimum needed to keep the app secure and working (like login sessions).
How we use it
Only to run the app: showing you your own content, powering the team features you opt into (leaderboards, chat, shared habits), sending notifications you turn on, and keeping your account secure. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run ads, and we don’t share it with third parties for their marketing.
Who can see what
Private by default. Your journal, personal habits, and personal notes are visible only to you. A coach or team sees only what is explicitly shared: habits assigned by the coach, habits and goals you choose to share, and what you post to team boards or chat. You control goal visibility (private / coach / team) per goal.
Young athletes
The Dojo is built for teams and families, and many athletes are minors. Accounts for young athletes should be set up with the knowledge and consent of a parent, guardian, or coach running their team. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to review or delete their child’s data.
Service providers
Your data is stored with trusted infrastructure providers who process it only on our behalf: Supabase (database & authentication) and Vercel (hosting). If you sign in with Google, Google shares only your name, email, and profile picture with us.
Your rights
You can see and edit your content in the app anytime. To export your data or delete your account and everything in it, email us and we’ll take care of it promptly.
Security & retention
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by per-user security rules at the database level, and we keep your data only while your account is active or as needed to run the service.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll note it in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
